Welcome to Andover BMX Raceway, Home of the Andover BMX Club
Ride It, Jump It, Love It
THE TRACK
Located at the Charlton Leisure Park in Andover Hampshire, Andover BMX track was first established in 1996 and has seen a number of changes and improvements over the years. Most recently fundraising by club members has resulted in a new start hill and gate. 2022 promises to bring further updates to the facilities that will incorporate the installation of floodlights for evening events and training sessions. The track is one of a handful in the South of England that conforms to British Cycling standards for regional level BMX racing and regularly hosts such events as well as frequent "club" level races. In recent years parts of the track have also been incorporated into the Andover Supercross round of the Wessex Cyclo-cross League.
Our Full address is: Charlton Sports Centre, West Portway, Andover SP10 3LF
From West Portway take the first right turn into "Charlton Sports Area" about 150m down the road a car park is to the left with a large gate at the entrance.
The BMX Track is at the end of this dirt car park.
Please do not park in or block the private driveway at the entrance of the car park. Thank You.
During Club training sessions and events, parking adjacent to the track is permitted. Outside of these times parking is a short walk from the track.

What should I bring?

"Just bring your bike and have a go, any bike will do to start out "
Just a few rules to keep safe...
There is no lower limit to the age of participants but the ability to stand up while riding is the minimum requirement, while riders who need assitance to ride over our bigger features will require accompiment on track during the sessions.

All participants must wear a full face helmet, gloves and a long sleeve top & bottoms as a minimum, but we would advise some form of protection for the rest of the body. Children 12 years and under need to be supervised by a responsible adult whilst the training is taking place.
The Club has some loan equipment for newcomers... Full Face Helmets, Gloves, Pads and of course Race BMX Bikes to help you to have a go.
